A few nights a go, I had the pleasure of being invited to Cibo, a wonderful Italian restaurant in Manchester City Centre. Located just opposite the Hilton on Liverpool Street, Cibo offers up a relaxed, intimate dining environment with a menu that focuses on fresh ingredients, with extra Italian heart and soul.

Review: Morley’s – Hale

At the moment South Manchester is absolutely buzzing with great independent restaurants, bars and cafes. I feel like sometimes we’re just too spoilt for choice! With the food and drink scene booming in places like Chorlton, West Didsbury and Altrincham, I was excited to receive an invitation from Morley’s of Hale to an exclusive blogger event with the WeBlogNorth crew. Chalk Bar & Grill Re-launch – Didsbury

Last Thursday evening I went to Didsbury. I haven’t been to Didsbury for quite a few years and whilst it’s always been a hub for bars and pubs that I frequented in my student days, I always felt it was missing a really good cocktail bar.

Enter Chalk Bar & Grill – recently refurbished and now being run by MAD Ltd, the team behind several other Manchester drinking establishments such as Rosylee, Tusk, Walrus, The Fitzgerald and Hula.

We were lucky enough to be invited along to their re-launch party so sampled some delicious cocktails, nibbles and delightful surroundings. Continue reading

Beef and Pudding 2nd Birthday Brunch Bash

Last week I had the pleasure of being invited along to Beef and Pudding‘s 2nd Birthday Brunch Bash in Manchester city centre. I’d always wanted to try Beef and Pudding since it’s launch as I used to work very close by, but had never got round to it.
