Budget Zombie: Cheap Halloween Idea

Indy Man Beer Con 2015
I’d never been to the Independent Manchester Beer Convention (Indy Man Beer Con/IMBC) before which is now in it’s 4th year. So on a breezy Sunday afternoon we cycled over from Chorlton to the beautiful Victoria Baths in Victoria Park for this year’s event.
Double Zero – Chorlton
We all already know about my sordid love affair with pizza. One of my new favourite local joints has taken it to a whole new level. Double Zero on Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton takes things back to basics – proper tasty ingredients, freshly baked pizza bases all cooked traditionally in a flaming hot oven at the back of the restaurant. Things got emotional – dare I say it, but this might be the best pizza restaurant in Manchester. Continue reading

I’d been hearing good things about The Crafty Pig bar and kitchen so the other Saturday a bunch of us popped along for a friends birthday – there were around 20 of us and the staff were very welcoming and it was a very smooth service for such a large group. Continue reading
Visiting Bergen
We embarked onto our train at Oslo station and settled in for a long journey across the width of Norway to our next destination – Bergen. The train journey was incredible with some spectacular views as is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful train journeys you can take in Europe.
