Beef and Pudding 2nd Birthday Brunch Bash

Last week I had the pleasure of being invited along to Beef and Pudding‘s 2nd Birthday Brunch Bash in Manchester city centre. I’d always wanted to try Beef and Pudding since it’s launch as I used to work very close by, but had never got round to it. So when they got in touch to say they were having a Birthday brunch and celebrating the launch of their Bloody Mary buffet, it seemed like the perfect time to finally get acquainted.

Cup North 2015

I’m sure I still have a slight buzz on, having attended the 2nd annual “two day northern coffee party” Cup North at the weekend. I’d been invited along by the organisers to come and sample all sorts of caffeinated delicacies. I’m by no means a coffee expert so I was intrigued to see what kind of experience I’d take from it.

After-Work Snacks: Kim By The Sea – Hulme

Kim By The Sea is a great little pit stop on my cycle home from work. Located just off Stretford Road, it’s an ideal place to take a quick rest – which is exactly what we did last week.

Levenshulme Night Market – Halloween Spooktacular!

I went to Levy Market after work last night, it was a street food special so I couldn’t resist popping along and sampling a few local delights. I love going to Levenshulme market – and it’s gettting busier everytime – a real credit is due to the organizers, they always manage to pull together incredible food traders and makers.

De Nada – Chorlton

A firm favourite in my Chorlton dining circuit is De Nada. A South American cafe bar with a relaxed atmosphere, cosy surroundings, friendly staff –  and some great artwork too.

Indy Man Beer Con 2015

I’d never been to the Independent Manchester Beer Convention (Indy Man Beer Con/IMBC) before which is now in it’s 4th year. So on a breezy Sunday afternoon we cycled over from Chorlton to the beautiful Victoria Baths in Victoria Park for this year’s event.

Double Zero – Chorlton

We all already know about my sordid love affair with pizza. One of my new favourite local joints has taken it to a whole new level. Double Zero on Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton takes things back to basics – proper tasty ingredients, freshly baked pizza bases all cooked traditionally in a flaming hot oven at the back of the restaurant. Things got emotional – dare I say it, but this might be the best pizza restaurant in Manchester.

The Crafty Pig

I’d been hearing good things about The Crafty Pig bar and kitchen so the other Saturday a bunch of us popped along for a friends birthday – there were around 20 of us and the staff were very welcoming and it was a very smooth service for such a large group.

Crazy Pedros Part-Time Pizza Parlour

I have a serious addiction to pizza.

Luckily for me and my buddy Kate there’s a crazy little pizza parlour called Pedros a stones throw away from our workplaces – so it’s the perfect after-work haunt to eat delicious pizza and drink amazing cocktails!
