Gin Festival 2018 – Manchester

Yesterday I was feeling extremely lucky, we’d been invited to attend the Gin Festival 2018, in one of my favourite places in the world, Victoria Baths. It’s such a beautiful building and was a perfect venue for the 6th Gin Festival to be held in Manchester.

Another Heart To Feed – West Didsbury

Another Heart To Feed is the latest addition to the West Didsbury food scene. It’s a laid back, Melbourne inspired coffee shop and brunch spot. It has recently re-located from Chapel Street in Salford and can now be found on Burton Road, West Didsbury.

I decided over the past couple of weeks to take my blog into a bit of a different direction this year. Don’t worry, I’ll still be featuring all the amazing restaurants, foodies markets and bars that Manchester has to offer; but I also want to share a bit more of the city. Vintage Home Show – Victoria Baths – Manchester

Hey folks! Just a quick one this evening but just wanted to share some pictures from the Vintage Home Show I’ve just been to at Victoria Baths in Manchester today. If you love vintage furniture and retro lighting you’ll be spoilt for choice at this event. There was a huge selection of homeware, kitchenalia, furnishings, ceramics and art work spanning from mid-20th century onwards.

Knowsley Safari Park

I’m always on the look out for things to do in and around Manchester that doesn’t necessarily involve food and drink. And it’s always nice to get out of the city from time to time and experience a bit of green grass and fresh air.

So when my friends Kate and Stu suggested a day trip to Knowsley Safari Park this weekend, I gave a hell to the yes.
